I don't know if anyone will notice or not, but I have deleted the last entry. I had deleted the photo's from my file and subsequently they were deleted from the entry. Besides that, I wasn't happy with the way it looked. I will do better next time.

I am currently at my daytime gig - Abigails house. She is having a nap, so I thought I would check in.

Not much is going on really. It snowed here the day before yesturday - enough to cover the top of your boot - so that was pretty exciting. I took the girls out in it. They looked liked marshmallows with faces. Yellow loved it. She ran around like a puppy, digging under the snow to find hidden sticks, then proudly pranced around with them in her mouth. It is all starting to melt now though, as the weather has been warmer. Ah, my first taste of the coming months.

I have been a bit down lately. No reason in particular, just several little ones. I won't bore you with the details, but I will say that I find it hard to write when things are slow. This is me pushing myself. I refuse to get stuck in a rut. I don't want to be in a funk once the winter comes, or Christmas. It's going to be a tough one this year.

Brandy has left for Thailand today. She will be meeting up with Nathan (her boyfriend and Rich's coworker) and spending three weeks travelling with him. What a fabulous experience! I guess criminal activity in Petawawa will go down for a few weeks - ha ha.

I got a letter from my friend Fiona in England this week. She is such a wonderful friend and I just love her to bits. She is one of those women whose heart has hurt and bled and I have had the opportunity to watch her pick hersulf up, dust herself off and return to herself stronger than ever. She is so inspiring. I miss her. I miss England very much. Mostly I miss my friends and my spiritual life. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about it. One day... My hope at the moment is that I get into a university that has an exchange program. Rich is also working on an exchange program. That would rock.

That reminded me of something. The military overlord is sending some of the men to do a course in Florida (date currently unknown, but sometime around the summer) for three months. Here I have two points. Point 1: Insight into military life. In the winter of last year, the army sent the boys on an excercise in Alberta for just over a month. Then they went (are in) the Stan for six months. Then they go to Florida for three months. In total, that is 10 months. Can you imagine your significant other being away for 10 months? Point 2: When in Florida, they will be staying in apartments. Rich has asked if Yellow and I would like to come along. Being an American, I would be able to get a job (mmm, American money). Live in Florida for three months? And I get to bring the dog? Hell yeah. We'll see how that pans out.

That's all folks!

Take care of yourselves, and each other.
