Hello Everyone!!

Well, my two weeks at home in Mississauga was absolutely wonderful. For the first week it was so warm I actually wore shorts and a tank top. On one particularily hot day we took Yellow to Erindale park. Richard and I were strolling a long the path, trees and field flowers to our right, a river to your left, when Richard stops and says, "Well, Yellow certainly looks like she is having a good time". At that point I looked to where he was pointing, and there was Yellow - happier than a pig in sh!t - as she rolled and rolled on top of a large dead fish. "YELLOW", I yelled, "Get out of there". As she got up I could see shiny black sludge marks, smeared across her shoulder blades. As she came within 10 feet of us I could detect that putridly unmistakable smell of dead fish. We took her down to the river and had her dive for rocks until we were sure she had soaked most of the smell off. Then I gave her a bath in the back yard of Richards parents house.

That was just one of the many adventures of the two weeks. Another is that I finally got my G1. Richard even let me drive the truck several times and yes, we are all still alive.

The wedding at the Nottawasaga Inn was the best night of my life. I'm going to give you the quick rundown, otherwise it will be a very long story. To start with, Richard gave my a pair of diamond earings for my birthday that evening, so I would be able to wear them. They are gorgeous and I was deeply touched. The wedding itself was a lot of fun. After dinner I took some time to wander off - as I usually do. After a few turns down a long hall I found myself in the lounge where a lounge singer was playing to a crowd of three or four men watching football. I asked her if she knew my favourite song and if I could come back in a half hour to sing it for my boyfriend as a surprise. She said she would be happy to let me do so. I went back to the wedding to find Rich and get our room key so that I could warm up. I told him I had a surprise for him and that I needed the key. He thought *wink, wink*, I know what this is. I went back to the room to warm up, then back to the wedding to get him. I was soooooooo nervous! I led him to the lounge with that bewildered look on his face. When we got there I told him I thought he would like to see a bit of football (as he doesn't get it in the Stan) and we could have a drink together, just the two of us. He wasn't buying it of course. I don't have a very good poker face. After the lounge singer had sung a few tunes, she announced that there would be a guest singer up next. I got up, went over to the piano (shaking like a leaf), sat down and sang my song. It was "The Nearness of You". Though he would never admit to it, Richard absolutley melted.

We went back to the wedding, danced a few slow dances, laughed and took a plethera of bad pictures. On our way back to our room, I put a little bug in (the now loopy) Rich's ear (I stayed sober) to go out to the golf course and steal the flag from the 18th green. We changed into our sweats, snuck around like thieves in the night and accomplished our mission. If I was a gold member I could put up a great shot of Rich running with the flag! It was great.

The next day I got up and did several laps in the pool, then went back to the room to get Rich up. The resort has mini-golf, ping pong, arcades and a whole wack of other fun stuff to do. We played a round of golf, Rich gloated on and on about beating me (yet again), played a little ping pong, a few arcades, then headed for home.

The last week saw very little action. We went to the movies, out for dinner, out with friends, a Raptors game, Yuk-Yuks and then came back home to Pet. I got to drive for an hour- yipeeeee.

Okay, I want to tell you how things are going, but this is already long enough! I promise to put up another page tomorrow. I even have it written out already, complete with a brand new adventure to tell you about!

Until tomorrow, play nice.
