Friday June 6th - 10:05 p.m.
I spent the entire day enveloped in a whole other world. I've been reading The Thornbirds and haven't been able to put it down. I make dinner thinking, "what is Meggie going to do?". I make the bed wondering "I hope Fee doesn't fall deeper into herself". Not even half way through and I am already captivated by the characters.
I am toying with the idea of going to my mothersfor a week and a half. It is either that or three days. Since my Maw-maw is coming in from West Virginia, I better go for the full time. It means that I will be missing out on three ball games,my meeting with one of the volunteers I met on Thursday and a chancd to sit in on a community council meeting on Tuesday. That's okay, it will be worth it to be at my brothers' soccer matches. I think they would like to have their "sissy" there.
Tomorrow I will be spending the day with Bea, helping her with her garage sale. I am secretly hoping she has some things I need. Maybe some planters or something.
Alright....back to the Thornbirds and early to bed to be ready for tomorrow.
